I found this quite cliche and boring but I guess cliche is what my niece and nephew love because they seemed to really enjoy it. Both of them asked for it on the same night so I had to read it twice. My niece loved the pictures and my nephew enjoyed the writing, even correcting me when I read a sentence incorrectly.

I love this TV episode and the book is almost as good as the TV episode is. The story is very similar to that episode and the pictures are all wonderful. Fans of Sofia will definitely enjoy this book. It is one of my favorite Sofia books so far.

At the beginning of the book, I was turned off by the telling, but I think it was written that way so that children could picture things more easily. Other than that, this book was amazing and I would recommend it to children, though adults would enjoy it too. The illustrations really helped to draw an emotional response from me. The dialogue was sometimes guarded, but the expressions on the character's faces showed their true feelings. I felt for Sophia, who wanted her new sister and her old fr [...]

Sophia and her newly step sister Amber are having a Royal Sleepover. Sofia has invited her friends from where she used to live. Can they mix in with Amber's princess friends? They are loud, and fun, and are enjoying one another. But Amber and her friends think they are to rowdy and nothing like what a Princess should be. So in trying to get them all to like one another she accidentally hurts her old friends feelings. She sees what she's done wrong and she fixes it with them, and soon Amber sees [...]

The Sofia books are always pretty good because we enjoy the TV show. This one is about the royal slumber party where Sofia and Amber invite their friends over. However, the party that Amber wants to have is boring. Eventually Sofia leaves to be with her friends from the village and they have a blast. Amber and the other princesses see how much fun they're having and decide they need to join in and not be so "proper". It's a cute story for young girls to see what a slumber party looks like with a [...]

Sofia and her sister are having a slumber party. Both invite their closest friends. Her sister's friends are royalty, fellow princesses, while Sofia's friends, are local village girls. So, each has their own idea of fun. Her sister and friends make fun of everything that Sofia and friends do, so they feel bad, and leave. Luckily, Sofia's mother gives her some sound advice, and she rushes to invite them back.Upon hearing the fun they are having, the sister and friends come knocking, what to join. [...]

    9. Kara Laidig says:

This is a great book about being true to yourself and not letting others change you. Sofia's friends didn't fit in with the other princesses so Sofia tries to change them but they weren't having any friends. They soon learn that they need to be themselves to have fun. Even the other princesses, that judged her, joined in on the fun with them

Katelyn says, "I would want to be friends with Ruby and Jade because they were fun. The other girls said, 'Don't worry, you're with us now.' and that was mean."

    14. Ckolleen says:

I thought this book was pretty cute. Using pinecones to curl their hair. And the Princess Lesson in the story was "A true princess treats people with kindness."
