      Another strange picture book. I seem to be picking all the weird ones this monthLorkie is a "roof bird." He and all the other birds live on roofs and all roofs have at least a few birds. The birds are depicted as being ENORMOUS - they dwarf the roofs on which they dwell (why they do not crush the houses I could not say).       Some of this I liked quite a lot--the songs, the very urban setting; some of the illustrations were great--the two large birds on the roof, the traffic circle; but mostly this just felt a little odd.
